Terms + Conditions

 

Please read my Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing, if you are buying an item with Mothers Love you are therefore agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Postage
All items within the UK will be posted via Royal Mail Signed For, First Class, unless alternative methods have been requested, which may incur an additional fee to those stated at the checkout.

International Shipping
I work with customers on a global scale and offer international shipping. I have a flat rate of £30 for International Shipping, if for any reason the cost exceeds the flat shipping rate I will provide proof of this and request additional payment. Please also be aware you may encounter country specific custom charges. Please allow an extra 2 weeks turnaround time for international shipping.

Turn Around Times
For standard orders please allow 4 to 8 weeks from the date your milk is received. The turnaround time on pre orders / custom orders is 8-10 weeks from receiving your milk. This can be subject to change if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Ring/Jewellery Orders
With all ring orders it is the responsibility of the customer to measure their ring size correctly, ring sizer's are available to purchase through the website. If there is a ring size issue I am more than happy to get the ring resized if im able to do so, i cannot accept ring size changes after 7 days of receiving you your ring. Please be aware not every ring can be resized due to the nature of its design, and sometimes a new setting will need to be ordered. Please send me a message with instructions for the resize and i will get back to you with a quote.

Please be sure of any finish inclusions you would like before ordering, it is not always possible to change this at a later date.

Changes to you order
If you feel you have made a mistake upon order, i offer a 48 hour grace period for you to make changes to that order. I will try an accommodate changes the best I can as far as reasonably possible.

Your milk and inclusions.
Once your item of jewellery has been prepared, any excess milk, or preserved milk will be stored for a period of 12 months from the date of preserving. This is in case of repeat orders or to need to repair, one 5-10ml tube of milk will make up to 3 pieces of jewellery. If you do not wish for your preserved milk to be stored please state this via email or written on your makers card, for me to arrange a  safe disposal of your milk. All excess milk if safely stored and used for your personal orders from Mother Love Jewellery.

For ashes I require 2 tsp, placenta - 1 capsule and hair is a good size curl. 
Please never send all you have incase of a rare unfortunate event of an inclusion getting lost in the post.
Any remaining ashes will be posted back with your finished piece.

Gift vouchers
Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be used in conjunction with any promotions. All gift cards are digitally provided via email.

Upon placing your order through the website payment will be requested in full.

Your keepsake is a custom-made item and is made with your inclusions only therefore unfortunately I cannot accept any returns or issue any refunds, unless the order is faulty. I can however chat to you about repairs if needed.

If your order is damaged or faulty upon receipt, please inform us within 10 working days of receiving your item. Free repair or replacement of your keepsake will be organised. If I do not hear from you within the 10 working days, it will be assumed that your keepsake satisfies your requirements.

If a replacement/repair is needed it will be the customers responsibility to post the jewellery piece back to Mothers Love Jewellery, I cannot be held responsible if this item goes missing in the post. I advise returns to be sent tracked & insured. Details of the customer must be provided along side the jewellery being returned, without these details I cannot process any repairs/replacements. Details to include name, address & current contact details.

Order cancellations will be possible before milk is received, but unfortunately I cannot refund any order once I have started preserving your inclusions.

I reserve the right to refuse repair/replacement is damage is obviously not manufacture fault or instructions have not been followed as per the jewellery care card. This will include water damage, obvious snags and chemical reactions eg hand sanitiser and chlorine.

Pictures of your finished jewellery may be used on the website and social media platforms for advertising purposes. All order details will be confidential as per data protection act.

This will also include anything Mothers Love Jewellery is tagged in or submitted by way of review/photograph. Please contact me if you would not like you picture used.

Silver Care

Due to the composition of silver, exposure to the air and environment will naturally cause it to tarnish over time. Avoid contact with perfumes and lotions and keep your jewellery in a safe, dry place between wears to keep it looking sparkly for longer.

Every Drop Is Different

Please remember that all breastmilk is different, this will be reflected in the colour of your finished piece. It's not uncommon for breastmilk to change colour over time. Our preservation process should prevent this to a certain extent, but there is always a chance that your breastmilk item may change.

Air Bubbles

As resin jewellery is poured by hand, there can be tiny air bubbles inside the finished breastmilk pearl. We do our best to keep any air bubbles to a minimum, but some air bubbles might be visible in your jewellery.
